La trayectoria vital del Dr. Jiménez-Castellanos Calvo-Rubio (Aguilar de la Frontera, Córdoba, 1923 - Fuengirola, Málaga, 2009) trascurrió en el triángulo andaluz formado por las provincias de Córdoba, Granada y Sevilla. En la primera nació y se desarrolló su infancia y juventud. En Granada estudió la Licenciatura, realizó el Doctorado así como su formación postgraduada hasta conseguir la Cátedra de Anatomía Humana. En enero de 1956 llegó a Sevilla. En esta ciudad el Prof. Jiménez-Castellanos desarrolló plenamente su carrera profesional y creó, con su esposa, una amplia familia.
